Scenariusz lekcji okolicznościowej z języka angielskiego "Easter. The Story of The Innocent Man"

Poziom: Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate
Temat: Easter. The story of the Innocent Man
Czas: jedna jednostka lekcyjna (45 min)

Cel ogólny: rozwijanie umiejętności mówienia - relacjonowanie wydarzeń przeszłych z użyciem mowy zależnej; opisywanie tradycji wielkanocnych

Cele szczegółowe:
Uczeń:
- wymienia symbole wielkanocne związane z polską tradycją;
- czyta tekst i uzupełnia podanymi wyrazami;
- opowiada o wydarzeniach przeszłych;
- relacjonuje to, co ktoś powiedział używając mowy zależnej.
Pomoce: symbole świąteczne wykonane z kolorowych tekturek, magnesy, tablica, karta dla ucznia z tekstem (student’s worksheet)

Przebieg lekcji:

1. Czynności organizacyjne.

2. Nauczyciel zapisuje na tablicy: Easter symbols in Poland. Burza mózgów – uczniowie przez minutę podają symbole związane ze Świętami Wielkanocnymi w Polsce.

3. Nauczyciel rysuje duży koszyk wielkanocny na tablicy, pyta o tradycję związaną z tym przedmiotem. Następnie nauczyciel mówi, że w papierowej teczce ma różne rzeczy, które wkładamy do koszyka – wyciąga z teczki po kolei różne papierowe figurki, przytwierdza do tablicy magnesami i pyta uczniów, jak się nazywają te przedmioty po angielsku (np. coloured eggs, daffodils, Easter bunny / rabbit, lamb, chicks / chickens, box, etc.)

4. Nauczyciel pyta, do kogo odnosi się temat dzisiejszej lekcji – i dlaczego jest to „Innocent Man”.

5. Nauczyciel rozdaje uczniom student’s worksheets i tłumaczy polecenie – uczniowie czytają tekst i uzupełniają go podanymi pod tekstem wyrazami.

6. Sprawdzamy odpowiedzi.

7. Następnie uczniowie w parach opowiadają historię, którą przeczytali, używając mowy zależnej dla zaakcentowania słów poszczególnych postaci.

8. Nauczyciel zadaje i objaśnia pracę domową (do wyboru):

Homework
(a). Write the summary of the story you read during the lesson.
(b). Write a description starting with the words “The Easter I remember best was…”.

Based on the Bible: Matthew, Chapter 27- „Judged by Pilate”

Complete the text with the words from the box.
Jesus was now (1)…….before the governor; and as he stood there the Governor asked him, “Are you the (2) …… of the Jews?” “The (3)……. are yours”, said Jesus; and to the charges laid against him by the chief priests and elders he made no (4)……….. . Then Pilate said to him, “Do you not hear all this evidence that is brought against you?”; but he still (5)……… to answer one word, to the Governor’s great astonishment.
At the festival season it was the Governor’s (6)……… to release one prisoner chosen by the people. There was then in custody a man of some notoriety, called Barabbas. When they were (7)………. Pilate said to them, “Which would you like me to release to you – Barabbas, or Jesus called Messiah?” For he knew that it was out of spite that they had brought Jesus before him.
While Pilate was sitting in court a (8) ………. came to him from his wife: “Have nothing to do with that (9) ……… man. I was much troubled on his account in my (10)……….. last night.”
Meanwhile the chief priests and elders had (11)………. the crowd to ask for the release of Barabbas and to have Jesus put to death.
